Case study
Under the EU Digital Services Act, Very Large Online Platforms (VLOPs) and Very Large Online Search Engines (VLOSEs) must publish biannual transparency reports on content moderation. This project aggregates H2 2025 reports from 25 services into a single cross-platform dashboard, covering all 22 VLOPs active during this period and the 2 VLOSEs across all 9 DSA report tables: notices, own-initiative actions, government orders, appeals, automated means, human resources, user reach, and qualitative descriptions.
Sources: AliExpress, Amazon, Apple (App Store), Bing, Booking.com, LinkedIn, Meta (Facebook, Instagram), Pinterest, Pornhub, SHEIN, Snapchat, Temu, TikTok, Wikipedia, X, XNXX, XVideos, YouTube / Google (6 services), and Zalando. Raw source files: github.com/krMaynard/dsa-transparency-data.
Live tool
The full dataset is available on the Transparency Report API — interactive charts, structured queries across all 9 DSA tables, and a natural-language Ask box powered by Claude.
